Operation Lakers

Here we are, anticipating the much awaited Game Seven to determine which of the two, the Rockets or the Lakers will be playing the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals. Laker fans all agree that this Game Seven should not have even been necessary had the Lakers played consistently with aggressive defense and a consistent offense. The faults are at the hands of the players themselves. They've fumbled multiple times in these semi-final games, but when they were on point, they were definitely on point. It's sad to look back and see their consistency was low. Ups and downs while the Rockets seemed to play with a consistent drive and determination, all which make us question do the Lakers really want it. There's some fire left in them, and hopefully its enough to make Game 7 a real game, and not a humiliation or an instantly gratifying win for Artest and his Rockets.

Word of advice for the Lakers:
1. Please do not play Walton. He needs to work up his game. I've seen him miss countless shots and make ridiculous plays constantly turning over the ball to the Rockets. Consider him a cheerleader maybe? He is rather pretty.
2. Jordan Farmar is way too underestimated, as far as I can see, his shots are far more consistent that the starters for the team. Increase his playing time means increasing the security of the ball staying in offense.
3. Stay far away from Mrs. Drama Queen Ron Artest. The technicals against Kobe? Unnecessary. We all know his intentions are far beyond legitimate.
4. Stick someone on Scola's ass. He needs to be guarded and defended at all times. Once he's got a clear shot, he's going to go for it. Advice? Play like our Rookie of the Year Derek Rose would. Get up in his face, block his shot and his view of the basket.
5. I know Odom has a bad back, and Bynum's luck is starting to run out, but both of these boys need to hustle. They are by far the strongest force of Defense along with D-Fish and we cannot succumb to a loss simply blamed on a injury *cough*BRUISE*cough*.
6. Please pass it to Kobe, Ariza or Farmar. We all know our man KB is a ball-hog but he's hungry for another Championship ring, and he knows where the ball is supposed to go. Just defend him and make sure Landry or Battier doesn't get in his way. Ariza and Farmar, consider him Kobe's second and third in command. Get them the ball if Kobe isn't open. Better yet. Get to them, then pass to Kobe. Rocket's might seem to sense a trend.


That's all. Not much to ask for right Lake Show? As long as theres no more humiliating defeats. I don't think Los Angeles can take anymore of it.
